HALDEN
BRAND IDENTITY - MAY 2023
BRIEF
Design of the visual identity for a musical artist, including vinyl, manual, and merchandise.
WORK PROCESS
First, I realized the logotype using a custom typography to give it a fluid feel and a sense of movement. The ability to inscribe the logo within a square makes the brand more versatile.
The artist’s color palette is defined by a primary color: a warm yet vibrant pink (#F29AC0), complemented by white and black.
After these decisions, a Brand Identity manual was created to showcase the entire coordinated image of the artist.

The manual was designed in A5 format and printed on glossy paper (120 g/m² for the pages and 300 g/m² for the cover).
Inside, the first section introduces the artist’s characteristics, inspirations and musical style, followed by information about the coordinated image.
After that, the logo variations are presented, followed by the chosen typography and the artist's color palette. The following pages show the design of the vinyl cover, labels, stickers, and finally, the merchandise, including hoodies, t-shirts, mugs, and tote bags.
The entire identity of Halden's album is based on a 1600s illustration, reinterpreted with a new color scheme, the subject is Cupid, chosen for its alignment with the themes explored by the artist in his songs.
For the vinyls and labels I used this illustration, maintaining the three institutional colors. For the typography, I used the Kate Medium font for the titles, and Montserrat in its various weights for the texts.
I then created personalized stickers for the artist usiong the logo (in pink or black), along with three different types of guitar picks featuring the image of Cupid in the three colors, depending on the pick's thickness.
Finally, I designed two promotional posters with the same subject for the artist's concert at Arci Biko in Milan.
